Putting your higher education administration degree to work
Students who graduate from KU’s doctoral program in higher education administration have acquired the analytical and leadership skills necessary to advance in their careers as college and university administrators or leaders of other non-profit organization. This is also a terminal degree in the field.
Graduates of the Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration program hold positions similar to the following:
- college president;
- vice president for student affairs;
- vice president for international affairs;
- research analyst;
- dean of students;
- chief financial officer; or
- executive director of a national association.
