Putting Your Secondary Education Degree To Work
The Master’s degree in Secondary Education is designed to produce graduates who possess expertise in contemporary theories, procedures, and research in curriculum and instruction, as well as in educational foundations of curriculum & instruction.
Students who graduate with a Master's degree in Secondary Education from the KU Edwards campus will prepare to become greater, more effective teachers and teacher leaders. Many students will focus on a specific content area, or continue on in their learning to add-on a licensure endorsement such as the Reading Specialist in Kansas.
This Master’s degree program is also intended to prepare graduate students - like yourself - for doctorate-level degree program admission, should you wish to continue in your advanced studies in curriculum and instruction.
